Laughing in a Refugee Camp in Chad (2026)

The expedition took place in one of the areas with the highest concentration of forcibly displaced people in the country, where thousands of refugee families from Sudan are living after fleeing the war. Chad hosts more than 2 million forcibly displaced people, many of them living in refugee camps located along the country's eastern border. Through play, humour and the performing arts, we work to create spaces for emotional well-being and reconnection for children living in humanitarian crisis contexts. During this expedition, approximately 17,600 people were reached.
